I see. Sorry for my bad English, lol. I did that on Win Server 2k3 before and succeeded. And I guess you'll need to add the root cert on both server and client.
Yes, I didn't even have to do it before win7. I run SBS 2003 at home, and even my Server 2008 laptop used to connect just fine. But not Win7. I have no idea what was wrong with it, it kept complaining that the cert is not trusted...
No way to import a root cert created by your own into WIN7?
ReplyDelete"No way" is a strong word. But I did try and I failed. It is still a possibility that I have not put it in the right cert store.
