2 browsers (IE and Firefox) running Ajax.org demo are maxing out T9300 on my laptop - a Core 2 Duo running at 2.5 GHz. This is plugged in.

Of course you would have preferred those apps to be native, locked into Windows world.
Hm... no problem in Safari on OS X. It looks very cool and 3D, but CPU is barely used.
Tried on a netbook.
ie 7 - hanged
ff - very slow
chrome - went fine
