Just how dumb are we, really?

http://www.gallup.com/poll/116065/Americans-Views-Bank-Takeovers-Appear-Fluid.aspx

Gallup poll asks half of their polling sample whether they are for or against temporary "takeover" of the banks, and the other half whether they are for or against temporary "nationalization". The rest of the question is identical.

On the takover question: 54% for, 44% against, 3% no opinion.

On the nationalization question: 37% for, 57% against, 6% no opinion.

These people are allowed to vote?

After Bobby Jindal's speech last week, a friend in the Redneck Belt of Florida says some of his neighbors asked, "what Indian tribe is Bobby Jindal a member of?"

He had to think about that for a few seconds, until he realized that his idiot neighbors have *no* idea where their technical support is being handled, or how to find India on a map, and thought Bobby Jindal was an *American Indian*. You know, the kind that have the bingos and gambling casinos.

I swear, if Redneck America were any more stupid, we here on the coasts would disappear into a black hole of suck emanating from the heartland.
