I think that it's clear from the tone and content of the article referenced that Pastor Kalnins holds to views which "lie outside of mainstream Christian thought." Why the blanket statement on Christianity?
Well, mainstream enough to define US Presidency for the last 8 years, and perhaps 8 years to come...
What a controversy in her own words! "Jesus called to die", but did he imply that it is ok to die on war?
Protection of own life is ok (because it is a gift and should be treated valuably). But he did not call to die in a war. He did not call for preventive killing of potential enemies. He taught people to forgive their enemies no matter what! Why these things are never quoted?
